Everything she has learnt about her Caribbean heritage is rooted in the history of this neighbourhood. But as monuments in the community are mysteriously disappearing and all the adults are losing memory, Chala must find out why and how this is happening. In an effort to recover the missing monuments and restore memory to her community, Chala learns about the wonders of her family's ancestral magic and the secrets that linger in the pits of Fever Street.
